Bullfrog Lodge
Bullfrog’s history is short. In 1988, there was a sudden increase in camp enrollment. This increase was so great that there was not enough room in the existing lodges to house all of the campers. In response, the directors decided to create a new lodge in the space underneath the shop. This lodge was given the name Bullfrog in honor of the loud croaking that could be heard from the lake at night. Older boys were placed in Bullfrog since it was not an ideal situation. After the summer of 1988, the space under the shop was never used as a cabin again and the Bullfrog lodge disappeared forever.
Polecat Lodge
Polecat was built in the early 1920s as the fourth lodge on the junior side of camp. After the fire of 1977, however, Polecat was renamed Falcon in order to commemorate one of the lost lodges. It was never known as Polecat again.
