Maine Echoes was published by Donald and Jane Hawkes Liddell in 1966 to commemorate the deaths of Raymond Frank (1894-1966) and Dean Ross Miller (d. 1965). Raymond Frank founded Camp Kawanhee with his brother George in 1920, and served as its co-director until his death. Dean Ross Miller worked at Camp Kawanhee each summer from 1925 to 1964 (except 1927) and is fondly remembered for the talks he gave at the Sunday Services. This book contains tributes to and biographies of both men, as well as excerpts from Miller’s Sunday talks and the letters of sympathy sent to Mrs. Franny Frank following her husband’s passing.
